Inital experience was very positive, with a polite, respectful salesman and no 'hard sell' approach which we appreciated. We were disappointed with an airbag recall before the car was delivered and had to wait several weeks for delivery - this caused us several issues as we had planned various trips in the new car. When the car finally arrived, the valet company had damaged the two front doors when removing the Stepway stickers (something we'd requested and were told was a straight forward job) Initially Renault Cardiff offered to paint and polish the door, then offered to put a new door on one side. Neither options were acceptable to us as we didn't want a brand new car that had been repaired. Eventually the manager agreed to organise a new vehicle which meant another delay, in the meantime we had use of a courtesy car. When we went to pick up the new car, it had several marks on the paintwork which needed to be polished out and one of the front door handles needed to be replaced because it was scratched. In my opinion, if a car is being sold brand new, it should be immaculate with unblemished paintwork. I appreciate that cars need to be checked and test driven but they should then be prepared thouroughly before handover. There's no excuse for a brand new car to have small tar spots on the paintwork or for the handbrake to need adjusting. In fairness, Kevin Brown the salesman was excellent and very patient and helpful with us but we don't feel our purchase of a new car from Renault Cardiff was the experience it should have been.

I originally went to purchase my new car from Renault Swansea, but was extremely disappointed with the salesman. I did consider purchasing a different make, however I?m so glad I went to Renault Cardiff, where I was served by Jamie Thomas, who was excellent throughout the process. He was respectful, honest and extremely helpful.

Staff wete exceptionally helpful and Heather Jenkings, who dealt directly with us was courteous and ensured we were kept informed at every point of the purchase. Heather did not pressurise us but was available and supportive, every step of the way. Well done Dacia, Cardiff. I love my new car

I purchased my car from the Bridgend branch, disappointed that I was not updated with delivery date and as I took out my own finance as I was told I would have the car within 4 weeks I then had to pay two car payments one month as I did not have my new car. As a single parent this was a bit of a struggle for me.

The staff at Renault/Dacia are very friendly and helpful and Jamie could not have done any more. This is my second Dacia car and would happily purchase from them again

It would be better if you did not submit an advertisement to say that the car was available when it's not. We had to come back 3 times. The standard of your valet is extremely poor. I was able to wipe off surface dirt even though it had apparently been through your valeting service twice.

Renault retail group Cardiff is the worst car sales garage I’ve ever dealt with. Will Gannon failed to get back to me when promised and failed to deliver what he promised at every opportunity. Extremely disappointed with service and even now no one seems to care. I feel ripped off and cheated after I was sold not only a car but first class customer service and both have fallen well below expectation and promise.

THE VEHICLE WAS DELIVERED FROM CARDIFF TO EASTBOURNE , A NICE TOUCH WOULD HAVE BEEN TO HAVE TAKEN IT TO A CAR WASH ON ARRIVAL IN EASTBOURNE AS IT WAS QUITE DIRTY ON ARRIVAL BUT OTHER THAN THAT T WAS ENTIRELY AS ADVERTISED.

Although the sales man was very friendly upon purchase of my vehicle I realised a week later that I had no spare tyre or puncture kit in my car. When I attended the show room to enquire about this I was spoken to in a condescending manner by a sales man who acted like I clearly did not know what I was talking about as there would definitely be a blow up kit in the car. It took a member of the service centre to help me and eventually the manager found me a puncture repair kit that should have been in the car. I have a 10 week old baby and wanted a new, more reliable car. I was not happy that the garage let me leave without doing the necessary checks to ensure the car had everything with it. My husband bought a dacia sandero from the same garage and had a very different experience as they went through a vehicle checklist with him which he signed before taking the car. I have never received this for my car.

Hi, I didn't need a test drive or finance, however I wasn't provided with information about your after sales service. The "Users Handbook" had been removed from the vehicle due to previous thefts apparently and , although I was given a copy I still don't have a "Maintenance Schedule" for the Sandero Stepway. If you could provide this I will be more than happy with my purchase from you as the car is performing well. Graham Pearce.

I never felt like a valued customer. You finance person was very good and thorough, but salesman talked to my boyfriend rather than we all the time. The whole experience felt sleezy and dissatisfying. I'd like to enjoy buying a car - I didn't!

Just a couple of extra such as an height adjustable drivers seat and a water temp gauge would enhance the car..also do away with the stupid tyre inflation and add a spare from new..
